Montessori Admission Procedure

  • Telephone inquiry or Personal visit to the school.
  • On invitation, walk-through of Montessori environment.
  • Obtaining of application form by payment of non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1000/-.
  • Completed application to be returned on or before 16th July 20……
  • Parent interviews will be arranged on appointment. Punctuality will be appreciated.
  • Children will be invited for a “Meet the Teacher” in the 1st or 2nd week of August.
  • Formal offer of placement will be advised via mail at the end of August.
  • Acknowledgment and payment of admission fee by the indicated deadline will confirm a three-year Montessori learning experience for your child starting in January/ May 2019
  • Payments are non-transferable and non-refundable.

 

Upper School Admission Procedure

  • Admission to Primary & Secondary Schools at LPF Academy Dehiwala (up to A/L) is on availability.
  • Observation of the Academy by both parents is essential, appointments can be scheduled between 9.00am and 10.30am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
  • While both parents have their interview with the Administration, the student will be assessed by the class teacher of the desired grade (approx. 02 hours for the process).
  • Punctuality would be appreciated, as well as notification in case you are unable to attend.
  • A completed application form should be handed over to the office along with a copy of the child’s Birth Certificate (original to be shown at the interview) and 02 passport sized photographs of the child.
  • Where relevant, academic records and a letter of recommendation or leaving certificate from the previous school must be handed in with the completed application prior to confirmation of admission.
  • If your child is selected for admission, and all documents are in order, you will be notified within a week of completion of the relevant interviews.
  • A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1000/- will be levied per application. Application forms could be obtained from the Cashier’s Office at LPF Academy Dehiwala.
  • Admission fees cannot be refunded or transferred to another child.
  • Short Term admissions for Primary and Secondary Levels will be made at the start of each term, depending on availability, under special financial terms & conditions.
